Lecture 9 will focus on an example regarding the energy transfer through a cylinder with a heat source.
In energy transport through the solid system without any fluid flow, only heat conduction is involved. Through this lecture, we can learn how to derive the temperature distribution equation and solve all the other related equations.

Reflection
In this lecture, I learned to derive the first temperature distribution equation under the energy transport topic. In this example, a non-flow system and no external work done on the system were assumed. The explanation given during class for the above sample question was crystal clear. I wish that I could understand the coming lecture too.
